Welcome to myVolte, a platform provided and operated by The Volte Group Pty Ltd (ABN 43 155 435 788), trading as “The Volte”, referred to as “we”, “our” or “us”.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the myVolte platform and associated services. By registering, accessing, or using myVolte, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview of myVolte Services

myVolte is a customer-facing platform that allows registered users to:

  • View and manage their digital wardrobe.
  • Access items purchased or added through The Volte or Seamlist.
  • List wardrobe items for rent or resale through The Volte and third-party platforms (e.g. eBay).
  • Create manual listings of items for potential resale or future marketplace use.

In the future, myVolte may expand to offer direct peer-to-peer renting and purchasing capabilities.

2. Account and Access

  • You may create an account directly on myVolte or log in using your The Volte credentials. Your account credentials are interoperable across both platforms.
  • You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Please keep your credentials secure.

3. Eligibility

To use myVolte, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. User Content

You may upload content such as photos, product descriptions, and listing data. By doing so, you represent that:

  • You own the rights to this content or have permission to use it.
  • The content is not misleading, unlawful, or infringing on any third-party rights.
  • You grant The Volte a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the platform.

5. Platform Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with platform operations.
  • Circumvent security features or access control systems.
  • Post or link to content that contains viruses or malicious code.

6. Integration with Third-Party Services

myVolte enables listings on platforms such as eBay via Seamlist integrations. Your use of any third-party services is subject to the terms of those platforms. The Volte is not responsible for third-party platform actions, policies, or decisions.

7. Payment and Commerce (Future Functionality)

Where enabled, myVolte may support payments for transactions. In such cases:

  • The Volte will act as the merchant of record.
  • Payments will be processed through Stripe.
  • Taxes (e.g., VAT or GST) will be applied as required by applicable law.
  • Additional commerce-related policies (e.g., cancellations, refunds) will apply when order functionality is enabled.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials on myVolte are owned by The Volte or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute content from the platform unless expressly permitted.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to myVolte at any time for violation of these Terms, abuse of the platform, or any activity that could harm other users or the integrity of our services.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

myVolte is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Volte disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

11. Privacy

Use of myVolte is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and store your personal information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
